“Charge” Movie To Be Released Next Week

Mark Neale, director of the quintessential movie on MotoGP racing, “Faster,” just announced that his movie about electric motorcycle racing, “Charge”, will be released next week.  Although nothing about the impending release is showing up on the official website, the movie has a newly-created Facebook page which had a post on Sunday, May 1, 2011:

The movie’s release shares at least one thing with electric motorcycles: stealth.  One thing it doesn’t share is speed.  I first wrote about this movie on my racing-related blog, emotorules.com in January 2010.  15 months later, it looks like it’s finally going to happen.  The movie was filmed at the inaugural TTXGP race on the Isle of Man in June 2009.  Will it include some footage from the FIM e-Power race at Laguna Seca last July? I was there and, although I missed meeting Neale, I saw one of his cameramen shooting the Brammo RR racebike.

Now, if they would only post some information on where we can view the movie.

the trailer indicates the movee is largely based on the first ttxgp race. is this documentary massively dated before it hits the screen?
