The Place to be on E Day

Where will you be on the day the Brammo Enertia goes on sale at Best Buy?  Will you be at THE Best Buy?  Did you know, that it is going on sale at only ONE Best Buy, and that the Best Buy Store of its debut is in Portland, Oregon?  If you’ve been reading this blog, you know all of that basic information already.

Did you know that Portland, Oregon has about 10 Best Buy stores?  Which one is THE Best Buy.

Your intrepid blogger and corporate stalker, Brammofan, has done your legwork.  I called about 5 of the 10 stores and got some great answers:

  • “We don’t sell the motorcycles, but we sell the bikes that are made by the same company.”
  • “We can order them for you.”
  • “Are those the motocross bikes? The little ones for kids?”
  • “Bram– What’s that name again?”

I finally hit paydirt when I called this Best Buy:

Ground Zero . . . uh . . . Ground Brammo?

Ground Zero . . . uh . . . (awkward) . . . Ground Brammo?

I actually spoke to one of the staff who visited Brammo HQ in Ashland, Oregon, and the excitement in his voice was palpable: “Yeah, we got to build one right there, from the ground up.”  He was familiar with the pictures of the powercycle on the Brammo website and expected it to look more like an Enduro.  “When I saw the finished product, it was more like a cruiser.”  He also said that he knew the July 6th date had been pushed back and that he didn’t know what the new date would be, but that it was likely to be mid-to late July.

First commenter with the correct address (street address or geolocation) of the Portland area Best Buy that will be the first to sell the Enertia, wins an “I’m a Brammofan” t-shirt.  No, not really.  But if Brammo ever sends out some swag, I’ll consider sharing it with you.

It’s been a long time coming, but the Enertia Motorcycle is about to hit the streets in a big way. I’m sure the commuters Brammo’s been marketing to for awhile now will find this reassuring in that there will be a major support mechanism in place to take care of the little tweeks the units will need from time to time.

Any idea on what the warranty will be? I’ve looked on the Enertia site for some time now and haven’t noticed any mention of one, except that it would be coming at some point.

Well, let’s hope the Wall Street naysayers are dead wrong! There always has to be some savy millionaire to try to spoil the parade.

Not sure about the warranty. I’m hoping they will have that up on the website soon, and maybe even an owner’s manual. I’ll definitely have it up on display as soon as available.

You know what strikes me? How honestly excited it sounds like they are. Truly good stuff. I can’t wait to see what they look like on display in the stores!
